I almost don't want to post a review, so we can keep this place to ourselves, but, we definitely want this restaurant to stay in business. The owner/chef was super friendly and really takes pride in the food that he serves. Their menu was huge, ranging from breakfast to Mexican to seafood. The food was incredible!! We are a family of 5. My daughter had the beef fajitas, which was very flavorful and super tender. One of my son had the Mexican cocktail shrimp that was delicious and better than anywhere else. My other son had beef fajita quesadillas and charro beans. He's a very picky eater and he finished the quesadillas in no time and had a second order of charro beans, because it was so good. My husband and I had the fish and shrimp, I was able to try the chipotle, garlic, blackened and s special Chipotle sweet sauce that the owner brought for me to try. Every flavor of fish and shrimp was incredible. We can't decide which flavor is the best since all of them were so good. Even thought he Chipotle sauce was a little to spicy for me, I still enjoyed it. The chipotle sauce was perfect for my husband's taste (he can handle the spices better than me). They serve all you can eat fish and/or shrimp and it was well worth it. The taste is totally different than any other restaurant that you would pay more than triple for the food. The restaurant was very clean and spacious. They are not white table cloth restaurant, but thats not important to us. We just wanted great food and we got it here. The portions were generous with the right price. We will be back as this is our family's new restaurant to go to in Port Isabel. We won't need to go anywhere else.
Came in and was immediately greeted by the owner. Our party of decided on the fish chicharon, it was delicious and the portion was very generous! We also ordered the shrimp sombrero plate and it was really flavorful! Our service and food was on point and we will definitely be back! Thank you for such a great dining experience!
My family and I (total of 9 people) drove by this restaurant in search of "All You Can Eat Fish". We passed by a sign after passing the bridge that fought our eyes for all you can eat fish and shrimp. We made the decision to stop in.
Once we parked outside, we walked in and was greeted and seated. The owner greeted us and started with taking care of us. Let's get down to the bottom line. The food was hot, had flavor, and service was impeccable . My favorite was the chipotle fish and shrimp. My wife liked the blackened shrimp.
If you know the "All You Can Eat" games most restaurants play, this was not one of them. We were happy and full when we left. Most all you can eat restaurants play the waiting game in refilling your plate which is not so here. The owner politely asked us if we would like another order when one touched down on our table. By the time we finshed the plate another arrrived. The plates carry two large pieces of fish and several shrimp if you get the shrimp plate. I truly got all I could eat and so did my family.
Restrooms were clean. Tables were clean. What more could one ask for in a restaurant? This location is small and may be hard to locate but it is a great place to visit. There is parking in the front and also in the back which is easier to get in and out of. Would I visit again? Yes.
Excellent! Fresh for sure. Husband had the all you can eat blackened fish ($9.00) and I had shrimp fajitas. Excellent all around. Very casual, walked in after being on the beach and was comfortable. Owner is friendly and welcoming. Ample parking in the back so don't let the small lot out front keep you from going inside.
We had dinner at Into the Blue Restaurant in port Isabel tonight. Fantastic food. I had shrimp and fish blackened, onion rings and Cole slaw. Everything was so good and the service was great. Going back to pa tomorrow but will be our first stop when we return! Thanks for a great meal!
Shrimp fajitas were local and fresh, super tasty! The owner came out and was helpful and friendly. Overall a great experience.
